Visit Normandy and Brittany with their beautiful countryside and the attractive coastline. Normandy is often described as the Devon of northern France, with Brittany as the corresponding Cornwall. The historic highlights such as Mont Saint Michel, the dramatic cliffs, the Normandy Landing beaches and the magnificent megalithic sites are amazing destinations.

Rouen

Rouen the Normandy’s vibrant capital was the home of William the Conquerer before he invaded England. In its historic quarters the lively old streets are lined with timber and stone houses. Monet’s canvases have made the cathedral the best-loved building in town.

Étretat

Famous Impressionists painted the cliffs overlooking the ocean and their exceptional natural arches created by erosion in the chalk.

Honfleur

Honfleur, the most picturesque of the Côte Fleurie’s seaside towns, sits in a great location, on the southern side of the Seine’s estuary. Its enchanting harbour, the Vieux Bassin (old bassin) surrounded by picturesque narrow houses with its timeless character is with no doubt the main attraction.

D-Day Landing Beaches

Impressive sites, museums and memorials relating to the amazing armada of Allied troops, landed on Normandy’s beaches on 6th June 1944 to begin the liberation of Europe from years of Nazi occupation.

Mont St. Michel

Mont St. Michel, one of the Wonders of the Western World. A dramatic island off the coast of Normandy with one of the most splendid abbeys of France dating back to the 11th century.

St. Malo

The old town is a fortified island known as intra-muros or ‘within the walls’ that lies behind massive ramparts. Walking through the cobbled streets of St Malo’s old town feels like you’ve stepped back in time, when it was a base for many «official pirates».

Quimper

Quimper generally regarded as the cultural heart of Brittany, is known for its cathedral, atmospheric old quarter and museums but most of all for its annual festival celebrating Breton culture.

Locronan

This exquisite village was elected one of the Plus Beaux Villages de France. Locronan’s beauty stems from the impressive houses, with their remarkable dormer windows, revealing the success of local weavers and merchants.

Carnac

The standing granite stones of Carnac are one of Brittany’s greatest attractions. The 3,000 aligned megaliths, which date from 4000BC were probably erected for religious rites.
